Koppitsch - Homok 2022
Varietal Gruner Veltliner, Weissburgunder
Region Burgenland, Austria
Until 1921 Burgenland was a German-speaking part of the Hungarian monarchy. In homage to this history, Alex and Maria named several wines with Hungarian names, including Homok which is Hungarian for sand. It's a reflection of the vineyard having sandy soils, but this wine would be very at home for beachside drinking too.
Bright and zesty. Guava with a shimmy of tropical fruit and citrus pops. Perfect on a sunny afternoon or match to some SE Asian flavours.
