Vivant / A French noun or adjective meaning living, alive or lively.

Vivant was established in 2016 by Liz Carey and originally known as Wine & Food Solutions. We import and distribute wines of purity and character across Australia. Over the ensuing years the number of producers we work with has grown to become a portfolio showcasing some of the most dynamic wine producers from Europe and Australia.

In 2020 the company became Vivant Selections, a new name to more accurately describe the wines and makers we represent. It goes without saying, we import wines that we enjoy drinking. We don’t follow trends and we buy based on taste. These are wines that are alive; some may be cloudy (unfiltered), from obscure grape varieties (Marselan or Trepat for instance) and may be different to anything you have tasted from the same region or grape.

Our Producers

All our farmers and winemakers practise sustainable viticulture, working the land with organic or biodynamic farming practices. Fermentation occurs with only natural yeasts and additions are eschewed except for sulphur on the occasion that it is required, generally only at bottling. We are proud to work with these artisans and showcase their handmade wines.
