Champ des Treilles is the small domaine run by Corinne and Jean-Michel Comme on the easterly edge of Bordeaux in Sainte-Foy. Corrine took the lead role whilst Jean-Michel remained the technical director of Pontet-Canet in Pauillac, a position he held for 31 years until 2020.
CDT Rouge is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. The fruit is de-stemmed and macerated for approximately 4 weeks. Rested in tank and concrete for 12-18 months.
Rich with fruit, the tannins swoon and embrace. A wine of impeccable balance, Bordeaux everyone can fall in love with that over delivers for the price.
