Ze-Ro is an ode to history; It is permissible in Côte-Rôtie to have up to 20% Viognier, now days winemakers rarely include any. This Vin de France is 80% Syrah (half whole bunch, half direct press) co-fermented with 20% Viognier in infusion.
Dark and brambly, violets and plums. Graphite minerality, spice and white pepper weave through. Flecks of liquorice, the viognier brings lift and lightness to the palate. A luminous wine with great structure and depth.
